As good as its goin to get..

Well here it is, the table that has needed to be done in quite some time. I have gotten away with just putting a table cloth on it but I decide it was time to renew it as best as I could and So I tried...

So obviously this is the before picture. It was all warped and funky and I do believe it was from the swamp cooler and all the humidity in the house during the summer and apparently it was a cheap table. But.. it worked right..

So I had to sand the dang thing *not my fav thing to do* and I sanded and sanded and puttied and sanded and it just didn't seem to get any better just worst so enough was enough so I moved on (apparently on not as patient as I thought I was).

I painted a few coats and then added a finish and.....

VIOLA!!

I don't think it turned out to bad.. I sanded it before I put the finish on it so it would kinda look a little antiqued specially with all the groves and bubbles that I couldn't get rid of.

All and all it looks better then it did. Dan said it is taking time to get use to it. But I like it and that's all that matters right ;)!!!

~Update on my diet.. It is going well I decided to weigh myself today not sure if I really should have cause I am really hoping it doesn't unmotivate me but... I lost 5lbs since Thursday and today is Tuesday so not to bad for the first 5 days!!

Lets just hope I stay on track its hard now with all the Halloween candy out and all the cute blogs on all the yummy goodies! I am in such a mood to bake!! Another thing I love to do but then I usually eat it, not necessarily while I am cooking it is after the fact when these cute yummy baked goods are calling my name and staring at me, it's a little hard to resist!!
